Disney World Vacation

We went to Disney World last weekend....WOW!! it was a wonderful experience for us as well as our daughter. We stayed at the popular Michael Graves & Associates designed Walt Disney World Dolphin resorts.

The Swan and the Dolphin resort sits elegantly on a lake with easy access to ferry to Epcot and the Board Walk. We were fortunate to get accommodation on the top most floor with nice views of the resort. I especially liked the resort architecture with earthen tones but very modern and set contrastingly in a typical coastal architecture.

Though the dolphin over the hotel did not look like a dolphin...it was a fish with scales :-)

Easter egg painting was one of the activities my 4.5yr old and myself did together this spring break along with other art activities.

Found this interesting book "Drawing With Your Hands" by Godeleine De Rosamel. This book has step by step illustrations demonstrating how to make drawings by tracing the outlines for your hand. A very nice book to introduce drawing to 4-6 year olds.

Experiments with shrimp

Shrimp is a new entry to my cooking adventures. I knew only to make shrimp theeyal which of course was a disaster always. After seeing so many great mouth watering recipes on Mishmash I have started trying to cook shrimp and all the attempts have really turned out good.
